Description of Plague Inc.
If you can put aside your moral qualms about killing billions with a virus that makes smallpox look like a touch of the sniffles then you’ll find Plague Inc one of the most engrossing strategy titles around.
The premise is simple: your pathogen has just infected 'Patient Zero'. Now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly, global Plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself.
You're delivered a world map. From there, you'll then be called upon to select a country of origin before you're permitted to patiently incubate within the unsuspecting inhabitants. As you begin infecting more and more individuals, your pool of DNA points (it's the currency utilized by unicellular fiends, you see) will slowly increase. As you might have guessed that's where the magic starts.
You spend points to evolve it but you’ll have to keep your eyes open. You need to be choosy. Adding coughing as a symptom helps to spread the infection but also brings attention to itself. Transmission through livestock works great to spread in rural areas, through rodents work better for urban ones. You get the idea...
Once the world’s doctors begin to work on a cure then the race is on. You have a limited amount of time to kill off the entire population of Earth before the cure is found. There are ways to slow down the research for a cure, but really, once they start down that path you better pick up the pace and kill even more people!
